AMERICA ONLINE CHAT NOVEMBER 2ND,1995

Some interesting facts about Ozzy Osbourne Ozzy's first show as a solo artist was in Glasgow, Scotland, in September 1980. He has sold more than 80 million albums collectively with "Ozzy" and with "Black Sabbath." Ozzy won a Grammy in 1994 for the song "I don't Want to Change the World," which comes from his "Live and Loud" album. "Live and Loud" was also nominated for its artwork. Ozzy's first job was tuning car horns at a car factory in Birmingham, England. Black Sabbath's first show in the US was at Engarno's Club in 1970. Ozzy performed two shows under the name "Law" before he debuted his new band, featuring Randy Rhoads in September, 1980. He has reunited only twice with the original members of Black Sabbath since leaving the band in 1979. One reunion was at "Live-Aid" in Philadelphia in 1985 and at his last show of his 1992 World Tour in Costa Mesa, CA. Osbourne's entire catalog was recently re-mastered and now features 22-bit sound, all new artwork and photos, and printed lyrics to every song. His new guitar player, Joe Holmes, was a guitar student of Randy Rhoads. Joe was sixteen years old when Randy died. Sepultra and Korn will be joining Ozzy on his US Tour in January and February 1996. The tour begins in Denver on New Year's Eve. Did you know that Ozzy sports eleven tattoos and that his new hobby is dirt bike riding? Ozzy's second job was working in a slaughterhouse in Birmingham, England. He served time in prison for burglary at age 18. He was useless at that profession since he used to wear gloves with the fingers cut out always leaving his fingerprints behind! Ozzy, welcome to America Online!
